Frequently Asked

Questions real agents ask.

If yours isn't here, email support@offercopilot.ca — a human replies, usually same day.

Is OfferCopilot a CRM?

+

Not a lead-gen CRM, no — we don't do prospecting or pre-listing pipelines, and you don't need another tool for that. What we do cover is everything the deal needs: capture the listing, build the offer, auto-fill the forms, counter, track conditions and dates, and keep the client file in one place through to closing. It sits alongside your CRM, not in place of it.

Which MLS sites does the Chrome extension work on?

+

Your MLS: REALM and Matrix — including the TRREB, OREB and ITSO Matrix portals. Open a listing on any of them and the full record flows straight into your offer.

Public listing sites: realtor.ca, HouseSigma (Ontario, B.C. and Alberta), Condos.ca and Zolo.ca — so you can start an offer from whatever page you happen to have open.

If your board uses a portal we haven't covered, let us know — new sources usually take a couple of days to add.

Does the AI ever make things up?

+

The offer wizard is deterministic — the AI's role is to suggest text (clauses, disclosures, condition wording) and extract data (from listings, uploaded pre-approval letters, status certificates). You see every suggestion before it's saved, and generated forms are filled from structured data — not from free-form AI output. The due-diligence copilot cites its sources for every finding so you can verify.

What OREA forms are supported?

+

All of them. The full OREA library is available — Form 100/101 (Agreement of Purchase and Sale), schedules A through D, the BRA (Form 300), Confirmation of Cooperation (Form 320), disclosure schedules, amendments and waivers included.

We also handle the paperwork that isn't OREA standard: your brokerage's own forms, board-specific documents, and genuine one-offs. Send us a form you need and we'll map it — after that it fills from your offer data like everything else.

Can my whole brokerage use it?

+

Yes. Add your team with roles and permissions, get firm-wide offer visibility, and view compliance audit logs — the admin seat is free. Brokerage plans include onboarding and setup, plus anytime call support.

How do clients get onboarded?

+

You send a magic link from your dashboard, or they can sign up. They open it on their phone, complete a onboarding wizard (identity, preferences, financial profile, upload needed docs and verify ID). You can upload an existing BRA or get them to sign one. Easily get a complete client profile + signed BRA and a verified client record — no back-and-forth.

Do I still need my e-signature tool?

+

No. Signing is built in — a fully compliant, integrated signing platform with signature and initial fields already placed on every form. Signatures are legally binding, there's no separate subscription, and your clients don't need to create a third-party account to sign.

If your brokerage mandates a particular tool, OfferCopilot still generates signature-ready PDFs you can route through DocuSign, SignNow, Authentisign or whatever they require.

Can I counter an offer without starting over?

+

Yes. Every term from the original offer carries forward, so you only touch what's actually changing — price, dates, conditions, whatever moved. The counter package regenerates from there, and a side-by-side view shows exactly what differs from the previous version, which is what you send your client when they ask "what changed?"

How do I keep track of deadlines?

+

Irrevocability, condition and closing dates are tracked on every offer and surfaced on your dashboard, and they sync to your calendar so they're in front of you wherever you actually look. Your pipeline view shows each deal's stage — draft, out for signing, signed, accepted — so nothing sits waiting without you noticing.

What do the Gmail and Google Calendar integrations do?

+

Connect your Google account once and two things happen. Gmail: Alfred watches for client documents and offer activity as it arrives and suggests the next move — attach this document to that client, create a profile for this new contact, start an offer on the property you showed yesterday. Google Calendar: every offer's key dates — irrevocability, condition deadlines and closing — sync to your calendar automatically, so they show up wherever you already look.

Both are opt-in and included on every plan, from Essentials up. The inbox suggestions are suggestions, not actions — nothing is written to a client record until you confirm it — and you can disconnect Google at any time from your profile.

Is my client data safe?

+

It stays in Canada. Client data is stored in Firestore on Google Cloud in Canadian regions (northamerica-northeast2, Toronto), encrypted in transit and at rest. The Google Cloud infrastructure we run on is independently audited to SOC 2 and ISO 27001.

Access is enforced on the server, not just hidden in the UI. Security rules scope every record to the agent who owns it, and a brokerage admin sees their own team's data and nothing else. Those isolation rules are backed by an automated test suite we run against changes to them.

Everything is logged. Each change, send and signature is written to an audit log you can produce for your brokerage. We don't sell client data, and we don't train third-party models on it.

Running a vendor security review? Email support@offercopilot.ca — we'll work through your questionnaire and DPA.

What if OREA updates a form?

+

We track OREA releases and can push updated templates within minutes of publication. You'll see a notification in-app; in-flight offers continue on the form version they started on so nothing breaks mid-deal.

What's the commitment?

+

Month-to-month. Cancel anytime. Sign up with code FREE-TRIAL for your first 2 months free. Brokerage plans include onboarding and setup, plus anytime call support.
